MCGIP Lawsuits
MCGIP is a company filing copyright infringement lawsuits against numerous John Doe Defendants. Most are captioned as MCGIP, LLC v. Does, at least initially. The root of the allegations in most of these cases is that the defendants downloaded the Plaintiff’s movie via a torrent protocol.
MCGIP has pursued its lawsuit(s) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the Northern District for Illinois. The firm may have suits in other jurisdictions, as well.
MCGIP is a movie studio that produces titles such as Aria Giovanni, Girlfriend Lost a Bet, Phat Ass White Booty 6, and Watching My Daughter Go Black Megapack. The lawsuits typically allege that their films are being shared without their authorization.
